FOR Republicans: The only Republican on the ballot is Michael Stansfield.

GAS TAX -YES

SD1 (2027): Pan voted for SB 1 to significantly increase the gas tax in California.

ELDER PAROLE -YES

AB 1448 (2017): Established the Elderly Parole Program in California law.

AB 3234 (2020): Significantly expanded the Elderly Parole Program, to allow repeat, violent rapists, child molesters and other dangerous inmates to be released at age 50.

SB 1029 (2012): Pan voted "Yes" on the bill that authorized state bonds to begin construction in the Central Valley. 

SB 197 (2022): Pan voted for the bill that released the remaining $4.2 billion in Proposition 1A bond funds, which had been held up for years by legislative skeptics.

CAPITOL ANNEX CONSTRUCTION -YES

SB 840 (2018): Pan voted for the $1.2 billion project, known as the Politician’s Palace. 

TAXPAYER PAID GENDER SURGERY -YES

SB 107 (2022): Pan voted for legislation making California a sanctuary state for minors seeking surgery to change their gender.

COVID/SCHOOL VACCINATION MANDATES -YES

SB 871 (2022): Proposed mandating COVID-19 vaccines for all K-12 students without personal belief exemptions.

SB 277 (2015): Eliminated personal belief exemptions California Healthline for all required school vaccines.

UNDOCUMENTED & SANCTUARY LAWS -YES

SB 54 (2017): Makes California a Sanctuary State and prohibits local police from asking about immigration status or participating in joint task forces for immigration enforcement.

AB 450 (2017): Voted to provide workplace protections by requiring employers to notify employees of immigration audits and banning voluntary consent for federal agents to enter non-public work areas without a warrant.

SB 29 (2019): Voted to expand Medi-Cal to include undocumented immigrants between the ages of 19–25 or 65 and older.

SB 4 (2015): Voted to expand Medi-Cal coverage to undocumented children under 19.
