Placer and Nevada County Republicans Are First to Endorse in CA03 Election and They Overwhelmingly Support Kevin Kiley
Rocklin, CA – – More Republican momentum has swung in Kevin Kiley’s direction in the election for the 3rd Congressional District as today he announced he received the endorsements of both the Nevada County Republican Party and the Placer County Republican Party in his campaign. These endorsements are key in the election as these are two of the largest counties in the district. An endorsement requires a more than two-thirds vote of the members.

“Any time a candidate can win the support of the grassroots in a campaign that’s a big advantage because the boots on the ground are what win competitive elections,” said Placer County Republican Party Chairman Mark Wright. “Kevin Kiley enjoys broad grassroots support in this election and that is clearly evident by the overwhelming support he received from the Placer County Republican Party. We are proud to support his campaign for Congress.”

The 3rd Congressional District is an open election due to redistricting and is home to 10 counties across California including the whole counties of Placer, Nevada, Mono, Sierra, Inyo, and portions of Plumas, Alpine, Yuba, Sacramento and El Dorado counties.

Over fifty percent of the new 3rd Congressional District’s voters live in Kiley’s home county of Placer and Kevin currently represents just about two-thirds of the voters in the district.
