Kevin Kiley raised over $100,000 online from 791 Individual donors in the first 48 hours after announcing for Congress

ROCKLIN, CA – Kevin Kiley (R-CA) raised over $100,000 online from 791 individual donors in the first 48 hours after his announcement for Congress on Thursday, January 6. Kiley, a member of the California State Assembly, is running in the new 3rd Congressional District, a seat rated ‘likely Republican” with a GOP registration advantage of +6.74%.

“I am humbled and grateful for the response to my announcement,” said Kiley. “We have profoundly important battles ahead of us, and I couldn’t be more excited, determined, and honored to be in the fight to turn back the radical Biden and Pelosi agenda.”

Kiley has led the opposition to Governor Gavin Newsom’s draconian covid mandates that damaged the economy, closed schools and harmed families. He has by far the largest social media following of any legislator, with 64,000 followers on Facebook, 62,000 on Instagram, and 82,000 on Twitter – many of whom live in the new congressional district.

Kevin Kiley is a former prosecutor and Deputy Attorney General. First elected to the California Assembly in 2016, Kevin is the author of groundbreaking new laws on freedom of speech, artificial intelligence, privacy, criminal justice reform, and protections for sexual assault victims, along with introducing the most significant school choice legislation in recent years. He was named national Legislator of the Year by the Association of Independent Workers for his work defending economic freedom. Kiley earned his Bachelor’s degree from Harvard, a Master’s degree from Loyola Marymount and a Law degree from Yale.

Over fifty percent of the new 3rd Congressional District’s voters live in Kiley’s home county of Placer. The next largest block of voters comes from Sacramento County followed by Nevada, El Dorado, Plumas, Inyo, Mono, Yuba, Sierra and Alpine. Kevin Kiley currently represents about 2/3rds of the voters in the new congressional district.
